Kazakh violinist gives concert in New York
Kazakh violinist Zagisha Kamil gave a solo concert to the leaders of women’s organizations in New York. She performed the works of famous Kazakh, U.S. and European composers. Wife of the UN Secretary General, Ban Soon-taek was among the honorable guests. Welcoming the Kazakh violinist, she mentioned the Kazakh musicians’ great skill and talent. The graduate of the Kulyash Baiseitova music school took classes from famous music teacher Nina Patrusheva and presently is studying in the U.S. The student of the prestigious Academy of Music in Manhattan Zagisha Kamil has won many international competitions, played in the Youth Orchestra at the famous Carnegie Hall. Presently, the talented violinist continues to take an active part in music festivals in the U.S.
