Experts: elections to help country to cope with coming global crisis
Experts of Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies has already given their comments on the decision of the Head of State. According to them, Nursultan Nazarbayev convincingly explained the need for early parliamentary elections. Analysts believe that this important step will help the country to cope with the coming global crisis and determine the future direction of development of Kazakhstan's economy and the whole society.

Today, in his speech the Head of State convincingly explained the need for early elections of deputies of the Majilis of Parliament and maslikhats deputies of different levels. First of all, it draws attention to the fact that in strict accordance with the constitutional law on elections, after consultation with the speakers of both houses, after consultation with the Chairman of the Constitutional Council, the President decided to dissolve parliament and call early parliamentary elections. It is important that the forthcoming elections could be conducted in strict accordance with the law, could be honest, fair, open, transparent, and that legitimacy of branches of legislative power could not raise questions.

Head of state gave reason for holding early elections to Majilis. The president supported the initiative of MPs, as today it is obvious that a new impetus should be given to implement all the tasks. The country needs new initiatives, new ideas and new people to cope with all problems the country is facing.
