New tools to support agriculture
New instruments to support agriculture have been introduced in Kazakhstan. Started not so long ago, a program of preferential lending of dairy farms "Yrys" is already yielding its first initial results. Moreover, it implies a reduction of administrative barriers in the agricultural sector and will allow agricultural producers to ensure the development of the industry. Breeders of Pavlodar region were one of the first who used the new program.
Nikolai RYAMBOV, HEAD OF FARM:
We took 53 mln. We spent 34 million on livestock, for the purchase of machinery, dairy processing lines and cooling tanks. We purchased livestock, and in the near future a new base will be built.
Ekaterina RYAMBOVA, MANAGER, PEASANT FARM:
We took a loan at 11 percent. It turns out that the state will subsidize 7 percent of these. That is, we pay 4 percent interest. And, of course, we hope to receive invest subsidies offered by "Kazagromarketing" because that equipment which we plan to buy will also be subsidized by up to 50 percent of the cost.
Evgenevsk rural district where the farm is located is one of the fastest growing in the Aksu district. It established vegetable growing and grain growing. Local farmers do not lose sight of any government program.
Assylbek ISKAKOV, CHIEF SPECIALIST, GOVERNOR’S OFFICE, EVGENEVSK RURAL DISTRICT:
Our residents use practically all state programs. Starting from small loans for entrepreneurs for novice breeders and ending with such programs as "Yrys", "Sybaga", "Zhaylau." our residents are involved in all programs.
