US will celebrate its Independence Day as part of the Astana EXPO 2017
On the 4th of July, the US will celebrate its Independence Day as part of the Astana EXPO 2017. This was announced by the US ambassador to Kazakhstan, George Krol. According to the ambassador, the American team are in the process of active preparation for the international exhibition. This will be one of the largest pavilions at the expo with an area of about 1,000 square meters. The theme of expo “Energy of the Future” has become the main highlight of the preparations. The pavilion will feature the latest scientific developments in alternative energy, but will also showcase the history and culture of the country. There is a special program planned to do so. The US delegation attending the national day will consist of diplomats, statesmen and entrepreneurs.
GEORGE KROL, U.S. AMBASSADOR TO KAZAKHSTAN:
- We’re trying to attract high-level visitors not just from government but from society. So we’re working very hard just like Kazakhstan is to make the case why people should come and see the expo and see Kazakhstan.
German expo team intends to surprise its guest at the expo in Astana. German expo pavilion has an area of 1,700 square meters, and will have a number of sections. For example, in the first hall the visitors will be able to see the map of the future from the view of a bird's eye. Moreover, there will be a clear vision of how man’s life changes rapidly with the use of new technologies. The guests will use the special keys in order to access the necessary information about presented exhibits.
ANDREAS HORBELT, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, GERMAN EXPO PAVILION:
- We want to show that each of us is an important energy producer. The electronic keys which our guests will receive during the exhibition will accumulate a certain amount of energy. This will become a part of our laser show. Thus, the visitors themselves will be the authors of what is happening.
The part of the territory of the huge pavilion is reserved for souvenir shops, and restaurants. There German specialists are preparing a concert program. For example, the visitors will be able to celebrate the Day of Germany on July 12. The culmination of the prepared program will be a big laser show.
