American national pavilion at Astana EXPO 2017 was showcased in Washington
The American national pavilion at Astana EXPO 2017 was showcased in Washington. D.C. Politicians, representatives of business circles, public organizations, the media and the diplomatic housings of foreign countries attended the event. In the given speech, Deputy Assistant to the US President at the National Security Affairs, Lisa Curtis highlighted that with the participation of Kazakhstan, the United States once again became a member of the International Exhibitions Bureau. The politician emphasized a role of the expo in Astana which is an example of further development of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States. The source of infinite energy themed The American National Pavilion which is based on the concept of invention and innovation.

- I have the privilege of being the President, CEO of the USA pavilion for Astana 2017 world expo. We are really excited tonight, we showed to the world for the first time meaning of the renderings and the pictures of what the USA pavilion will look like. We are really excited to showcase American source of the infinite energy and the future energy with the theme of world expo. And I’ve been traveling back and forth to Astana over the last couple of months and it’s amazing, even in the short time I’ve seen everything it’s developing, everything it’s building. Pavilions come to life and to show how important Kazakh-U.S. relationship is it’s been amazing.
The American pavilion at the Astana EXPO 2017 was officially presented at the headquarters of Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing. Secretary General, Rashid Alimov, spoke about the future section by highlighting that Shanghai Pact participates in the international exhibition for the first time in its history. He also highlighted that the beginning of the expo’s work coincides with the time when the Shanghai Pact holds the meeting of Council of the Heads of States who will make historic decisions related to the future of the Organization.

- This pavilion was granted to us for the first time and for which we are very grateful to Kazakhstan’s government. First of all, we personally are grateful for the Kazakh President, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and for his invitation. This pavilion is 357 square meters and it is located next to the pavilions of China, India, Malaysia and Algeria. This is a fairly solid neighborhood which certainly puts us to great responsibility. Therefore, we are preparing for the event very earnestly.
