Nur-Sultan holds exhibition dedicated to health workers
An exhibition called “Health to the country, respect to the doctors!” dedicated to health workers in Kazakhstan opened in Nur-Sultan.
“We organized this exhibition to pay tribute to all health workers. This difficult time showed how much we all depend on them. Health workers demonstrated a high level of professionalism and how important this profession is. This is service to the people. We are healthy and alive thanks to them,” noted Umitkhan Munalbayeva, Director General of the National Academic Library of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition presents training manuals and useful materials, particularly, on pulmonology and infectious diseases. It also presents scientific works, awards, literacies and personal belongings of well-known doctors who showed courage and perseverance during quarantine.
Doctors and health workers in Kazakhstan have done an unprecedented work over the last six months due to this dangerous disease. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his state-of-the-nation address on September 1 highlighted that “the fight against coronavirus clearly demonstrated the original features of our people: mutual assistance, indifference and readiness to jointly confront an unprecedented disaster”.
