New Collectible Coins Mark 75 Years since Victory in WWII
Collectible coins with denominations of 100 and 500 tenge from the ‘Outstanding events and people’ series are issued to mark the victory in the war against Nazi Germany in the Second World War. The coins are made of silver and alloys of cupronickel and nickel silver, press office of the National Bank of Kazakhstan reported.
A silhouette of a soldier standing in front of the cracked wall with the image of the Eternal Flame in the foreground is depicted on the commemorative coin. The string of pigeons soaring upwards symbolizes the fallen soldiers. Carnations are depicted on the right corner. There is a five-pointed star on the top.
The commemorative coins are sold at a collectible price. They are accepted for payment at the nominal price for all types of payments in Kazakhstan, as well as for crediting to bank accounts and money transfers. They can be exchanged in all the Kazakh banks.
