300 People Interrogated on Bek Air Plane Crash
A total of 300 people have been interrogated on the Bek Air plane crash case. Deputy Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Marat Akhmetzhanov stated that the criminal proceedings have been initiated and thorough investigation is underway. The Bek Air Fokker 100 with 93 passengers and five crew members on board crashed near Almaty airport early in the morning on December 27, 2019. The crash killed 12 people. Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar stated the Bek Air plane crash was caused by the icing of the aircraft.
