Project of Youth Body Development implemented in Kazakhstan
2679 ideas of Kazakh youth have been finally brought to life in three years. These are the results of the Zhas project where over 9,000 people took part.
As part of the program, up to nine million Tenge were allocated to the participants in order to support their social projects. Moreover, the youth were also taught about the skills of doing business.
The training was provided so that the beginner entrepreneurs can turn their social ideas into successful businesses. Monthly grants were also provided during the training.
This year, the project was conducted in Akmola, Mangystau, Atyrau and West Kazakhstan region as well as Nur-Sultan and Almaty. The main objective of the Zhas project is to increase civil liability.
The most interesting business ideas were presented at an exhibition in the capital.
“We have assembled a team to reach our goal, which is to revive the traditional Kazakh art. We purchased equipment using the funding which was allocated as part of the project. We are currently engaged in the production of dishes as well as musical instruments, such as dombyra and kobyz for example. All of these things are in great demand,” said Project Participant, Maksat Utepbergenov.
