Potential Development of Caspian Tourism

Kazakh companies are offering new tourism products to tourists. Each region of the country develops its own proposals to diversify tourism products to leisure travelers.

For example, a boat ride has become a new favorite entertainment for tourists in Aktau. Sea excursions are operational daily as well as the international sailing masters.

In half an hour, new modernized ships can sail seven kilometers along the coast of the Caspian Sea. In just a couple of weeks, nearly 3,000 tourists have been on board the ships.

New Russian-made boats were specially designed for trips around the Caspian Sea.

The sides were improved, the width of the deck was increased and awnings were installed. The ships reach speeds of up to 90 kilometers per hour. The boat can accommodate up to 15 people.

“We had worked on this project, developed and finalized it for three years. The Caspian Sea is unique. We need a breakwater for further successful operation of boats. If local authorities allow us, we are ready to supply special constructions that will help us dampen the waves,” said entrepreneur, Gani Abdisadykov.

In addition to tourist trips in the region, sea voyages between the settlements such as the Fort Shevchenko, Aktau, Kuryk and Kendirli will also be developed.
