8th annual Eurasian Higher Education Leaders’ Forum was held in Nur-Sultan, bringing together 300 delegates from 12 countries.
The event participants discussed some of the best international practices and the latest developments in the education sector. The conference participants learned how to build the capacity of future leaders and adapt universities to the changing labor market.
Provost of University at Buffalo, USA, Charles Zukoski believes that the education has to provide a broad understanding of culture, language, history and narrative so that people can communicate across cultural lines. Education has to give sufficient that is referred to a ‘domain knowledge,’ ‘expert knowledge’ to get the student the first job.
