Tungysh Exhibition Showcasing First President’s Belongings Held in Nur-Sultan
The items of Kazakhstan’s First President, Nursultan Nazarbayev, were displayed at a traveling exhibition, Tungysh in Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University in the Kazakh capital.
There were about 200 exhibits, including books gifted by leaders of foreign countries, archival documents, audio and video files, photographs, letters and personal belongings of the First President.
The university rector, Akhylbek Kurishbayev said that the exhibition benefitted the students as they get to learn and understand the way Kazakhstan’s history unfolded under the leadership of the First President.
“This is just the beginning of our extensive cooperation with the library. We agreed that our students will visit the First President’s Library to learn more about the documents and we will also hold lectures in our university as part of the cooperation,”
The exhibition is divided into five thematic sections. Each of the sections reveals significant data pertaining to the particular stages of the modern history of Kazakhstan.
Director of Kazakhstan First President’s Library, Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov said that the Tungysh exhibition was also held in Atyrau and Aktobe regions as well as in smaller districts such as Karmakshy and Shiyeli in Kyzylorda region.
He also said that the traveling exhibition will be continued in Almaty and Zhambyl regions as well as Japan.
