Kazakhstan and Turkey to cooperate in healthcare sector
Kazakhstan and its neighboring country, Turkey has agreed to cooperate in the healthcare sector with a focus to develop a world-class healthcare system.
The two countries are planning to enhance cooperation in the fields such as training of high-quality medical professionals, production of pharmaceutical products and equipment as well as the development of medical tourism.
Agreements on enhancing primary healthcare and the implementation of compulsory health insurance were also made between the countries.
Spokesperson of a Turkish company, Hussein Arslan said Turkish medical companies are planning to build medical facilities in Kazakhstan.
“Our proposal is different because along with the construction, we want to invest in the training of medical and administrative personnel,” he said.
