The largest oil exhibition in Central Asia KIOGE 2018 has opened in Almaty
The largest oil exhibition in Central Asia KIOGE 2018 has opened in Almaty. It is a unique platform for discussions of the most important oil and gas topics, implementation of smart technologies and digital transformation of oil and gas operations. The exhibition is attended by representatives of 250 companies from 15 countries that brought the most advanced technologies to Kazakhstan.
ALEXANDER YAKOVLEV, RUSSIAN FEDERATION’S COMMERCIAL REPRESENTATIVE IN KAZAKHSTAN:
- Russian companies are happy to be in Kazakhstan because we feel very comfortable here. There is a favourable investment climate here. 25 to 30 per cent of all Russian oil companies are here which is more than 100 enterprises.
A conference was held as part of the exhibition where local experts spoke about the economic effect of the innovative technologies implementation in the largest oil fields in Kazakhstan such as Tengiz and Karachaganak. They also presented a Kazakh innovation titled ‘Smart Field’.
