Eurasian Media Forum in Almaty gathered 800 participants from 60 countries
The Eurasian Media Forum in Almaty has gathered 800 participants from sixty countries. Well-known media personalities, politicians, businessmen, international experts, public figures and Nobel laureates are among the speakers. 100 foreign journalists and 150 Kazakh journalists arrived in Almaty to cover the event.

- The forum is attended by writer Lord Michael Dobbs, United Nations official David Chikvaidze, Academy Award Nominee Evgeny Afineevsky, Nobel laureate Manmohan Singh and many other famous personalities.
This year, the theme of the Eurasian Media Forum is ‘15 years of Evolution: How the World is Changing and How the World Changes Us.’ The program includes geopolitical topics, the new world order, the green economy concept, the fourth technical revolution and the role of investments for economic integrations. There are also master classes on modern journalism in the digital era and news presentation format sessions.

- We have many dignitaries who are taking part in that particular session. Riz Khan is going to be the moderator and we will look at the international relations around the world today and how countries are dealing with each other. We will also do a session on fake news which has been the focus in the public eye lately and the technology, we will address the media technology.
Over 6,000 foreign participants and 1,500 representatives of leading international mass media attended the Eurasian Media Forum since its first establishment.
