Five social initiatives of President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev: Gasification and micro-crediting
The work on the implementation of the five social initiatives of Kazakh President, Nursultan Nazarbayev is in progress. As part of the initiatives, the supply of gas has begun in Eastern Kazakhstan while nine rural districts in Zaisan will receive the blue fuel by year-end. An additional of eight districts will also receive the blue fuel by 2020.
It is forecasted that 95 per cent of residents in the Zaisan district will have access to gas within two years. More than one billion Tenge was allocated for this project.

- Gas is ten times cheaper than fuel. The public will benefit from this. Secondly, it's good for ecology. When we burn fuels, it will result in emissions. There is no emission in the usage of gas.
Meanwhile, microcredit is also part of the social initiatives. A total of 5.5 billion tenge was allocated for soft loans, which will be given to businessmen in Almaty region this year. The entrepreneurs are mostly residents of the Semirechye region, who joined the program of mass entrepreneurship development.
According to experts, the small-and-medium sized businesses in services, production and agriculture industries have requested for financial support.

- In 2018, we plan to issue micro loans to 672 people for a total of 4.3 billion. Based on the five social initiatives, a total fund of 352.9 million will be allocated to the cities while another 1 billion for rural areas.
