Official Visit of President of Belarus to Kazakhstan
A meeting was held between President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko at the residence of the Kazakh president.
The distinguished guest was welcomed by Guard of Honor. During the official welcoming ceremony, the National Guard Orchestra performed the anthems of Kazakhstan and Belarus.
The official two-day visit of President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, takes place in the capital of Kazakhstan. Upon his arrival, Lukashenko laid flowers at the Eternal Flame at the monument of Homeland defenders.
Detailed and overall negotiations will be held today. Prospects for expanding industrial cooperation and strengthening partnership in various sectors of the economy will be discussed.
“We are happy to meet the Belarusian delegation. We are bound by traditional relations of friendship and cooperation; our people are friendly towards each other. This is predetermined by the history. Therefore, this visit of the respected President of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko is a good opportunity to discuss all cooperation issues between our states and, if necessary, give it an additional impetus. We discussed the main problematic issues in a closed narrowed format. Given that the relations of states are the closest questions arise that require discussion, clarification and, most importantly, solutions,” Tokayev said.
