Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held meeting with Swiss President Ueli Maurer
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held several meetings on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
The Head of the State held discussions on issues of strengthening trade and economic relations with Swiss President Ueli Maurer. Kazakhstan attaches great importance to cooperation with the Swiss business community.
Ueli Maurer emphasized that both countries are interested to achieve common goals in various areas of the economy.
“I want to express my satisfaction that Switzerland is one of the top trade countries of Kazakhstan as well as one of the top investors to our medium businessman of those countries. I think, very much important that we get additional importance to the trade and investment cooperation of close countries,” Tokayev said.
“Thank you first for the excellent relations we have with Kazakhstan. That is very interesting part for us,” Maurer said.
The President of Kazakhstan also held talks with the Head of State of Bulgaria, Georgia, Poland and Ukraine after the meeting of UN General Assembly session.
The leaders of the countries discussed about bilateral cooperation in politics, trade, economics as well as cultural and humanitarian areas.
