Speakers of Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments to meet at Kazakh capital
IV Meeting of Speakers of the Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments will be held in Nur-Sultan, the capital city of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on September 23-24, 2019.
The theme is “Greater Eurasia: Dialogue. Trust. Partnership”.
“The time has come to rally around the idea of Greater Eurasia that will unite Eurasian Economic Union, Silk Road Economic Belt, European Union into a single integration project of the XXI century” President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed at the UN General Assembly in 2015.
The participants of the IV Meeting are invited to discuss and build shared vision and ways to ensure sustainable development of the Eurasian space.
Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and National Assembly of the Republic of Korea are acting as co-organizers of the inter-parliamentary forum.
The mission of the forum is building direct multilateral interaction between parliament members of European and Asian countries as well as the extension of inter-parliamentary dialogue and fruitful cooperation of Eurasian countries.
