Cooperation of Kazakhstan and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly
Kazakhstan makes a valuable contribution to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
This collaboration provides a platform to negotiate and interact with partners, as well as to improve international systems, including sustainable development aspects. Kazakh parliamentarians participate in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly event on a regular basis.
“I think Kazakhstan has always been and still is one of the most important members of this assembly. I think Kazakhstan has immense potential and after elections there is a very important moment now to advance reforms,” said President of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, George Tsereteli.
“We appreciate the cooperation with the Kazakh side. I appreciate working with the Kazakh representatives and with the Kazakh delegates, because I find very open spirit, eager to discuss situations, to exchange the practices and very open to see what are the standards,” said Margareta Kiener Nellen, Chair of OSCE committee on democracy, human rights and humanitarian questions.
