Kazakhstan’s History to Be Associated with Name of First President
History of state formation and successful development of independent Kazakhstan is associated with the country’s First President, Nursultan Nazarbayev. This is opined by European parliamentarians and representatives of reputable international organizations.
Experts said that the First President of Kazakhstan is a wise politician with great charisma. He has an analytical mind and a broad vision.
“This is a man who raised the flag of your country in the international arena. Kazakhstan has become a strong player in the international arena and at the UN level,” Member of European Parliament, Andrei Mamykin told Kazakh TV.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Secretariat of the Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva, David Chikvaidze, highlighted that Kazakhstan’s role as a stable and powerful state led by an experienced and respected politician for three decades is very important.
This allowed the country to provide Astana platform to resolve the Syrian conflict. The platform also hosted the Geneva talks, which then led the Kazakh Capital into a list of neutral world cities-mediators.
“I often meet my colleagues from the United Nations Special Envoy for the Syrian settlement. I can say that they speak highly of the Astana platform.”
“In future Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan and Almaty might play a neutral role in the topics related to world religions and nuclear disarmament,” said David Chikvaidze, Chef de Cabinet of the Director-General of United Nations Office at Geneva.
Open and independent Kazakhstan has managed to build good-neighborly and friendly relations with all partners of foreign and neighboring countries, the UN representative added.
International experts, politicians and diplomats believe that the First President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, is one of the historical personalities of global scale. He is one of the presidents who have a special gift since for many years in advance he could see the country’s path to its development.
