International Observers on Election in Kazakhstan
The presidential election in Kazakhstan was organized according to international standards. This shows the democratic development of the country, opined the international observers.
Election observer from the USA, John Gardner, was impressed by high activity of Kazakh youth.
Moreover, a foreign observer highlighted that voting conditions were created for citizens with visual and hearing impairments.
“I saw a precinct where the ballot box leaves to visit the disabled people. They also had the observers from different political parties go with the ballot box to ensure the integrity of the vote. That is the sign of Kazakhstan’s democratic progress,” he added.
At the same time, the international observers highlighted the high voter turnout. According to the Central Election Commission, this figure was estimated at 77.4% in the country.
More than 1,000 international observers followed the election process in Kazakhstan.
