Seoul will host a meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Central Asian countries
According to the South Korean Foreign Ministry, Seoul will host a meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Central Asian countries and South Korea on November 6. In order to prepare for this forum, five representatives of ministries from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan were invited to South Korea. Officials from the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Agriculture represent Kazakhstan. The delegations were introduced to the South Korean know-how on improving the environment. Kazakhs and their colleagues visited a landfill site for waste disposal. The waste is recycled. As a result, drinking water and pet food are obtained. Gas for city buses is derived from the recycled waste, too. Moreover, members of the delegation visited the National Institute of Environmental Research which is located in a smart building with zero emissions of harmful substances to the atmosphere and with electricity generated by solar energy.

- The main topic of the meeting of five Central Asian ministers in Seoul will be effective water resources management and save the Aral Sea. Therefore, we invited specialists in water resources to introduce them to the know-how on water purification. In addition, we want to introduce representatives of the Central Asian countries to their Korean counterparts as well as exchange experience.
