The Caspian Sea is becoming a center of attraction
According to international experts, the region is turning into a connecting point for international transport corridors and plays an important role in the system of transcontinental links as well as large resource capacities. All five Caspian countries are set to boost mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation. According to analysts, it will give additional impetus to the development of the entire region.

- The Aktau Summit served as a good promotion for Kazakhstan and Mangystau region in particular in terms of investors’ attraction. Investors arrive in the markets with clear protection of their rights and clear rules.
Specialists of Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Iran are set to join efforts to preserve the biological and water balance in the Caspian Sea. Protection of biological resources is an important undertaking that vividly demonstrates the countries’ interest in the application of rational approaches to the operation of strategic body of water.

- The Caspian Sea is a unique body of water. 90 per cent of all sturgeon species are located in the sea. It is very important not to disturb the ecological conditions of this strategic water basin. The countries hold anti-poaching operations every year, including joint activities.
