President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev’s initiatives on creation of the Global Anti-Terrorist Coalition were discussed at the United Nations (UN) headquarters in New York. International experts paid special attention to the creation of a single list of terrorist organizations and the further promotion of Kazakhstan’s initiative on the Code of Conduct on Global Actions against Terrorism and Violent Extremism. Important topics of discussion were the adaptation to new challenges related to threats and tactics of radical movements, including a movement of foreign militants, ways of their financing and the use of information technology. Only by joining forces, the world community will be able to withstand threatening challenges, experts say.
