Nur Otan Party’s New Program is Focused on Addressing People’s Interest
The new program introduced by Kazakh ruling party, Nur Otan is focused on addressing the people’s interests.
The goals of the ‘Society of Well Being: 10 Goals of the Decade’ program are set to ensure that the policy introduced by President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev are implemented successfully.
The policy is aimed at modernization in business, public administration, healthcare, education and others. It has a special emphasis on supporting youth.
Expert at the Institute of World Economics and Politics, Serik Beissembayev said the Kazakh Government will provide extra support for the young people within several years and there are about 200 youth resource centers in the country.
“We need to organize special trainings, workshops and seminars for the young people,” he said.
The Nur Otan’s new program outlines priority tasks for the Government such as improving access to higher education.
Analysts viewed that it is crucial for Kazakhstan to attract the best experts and professionals in the global education sector in order to train and educate the new innovative generation in the country.
Another expert at the Institute of World Economics and Politics, Kamila Kovyazina said there are about 53% of the population in Kazakhstan who are acquiring higher education.
“The percentage is quite high compared to other countries. The quality of education in Kazakhstan primarily depends on the teachers, especially in terms of implementation of the three-language policy,” she said.
The ‘Society of Well Being: 10 Goals of the Decade’ program outlines Nur Otan’s shift from economic development to social development in the upcoming 20 years. The main goal of the program is to improve the well-being of the people of Kazakhstan.
The program was introduced by President Nazarbayev during Nur Otan’s 18th congress in Astana held on Feb. 27, 2019.
