New Kazakh-language print media in Latin script was established in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan’s first Latin Script newspaper Til-Qazyna was introduced in Astana. The newspaper is aimed at the promotion of the Kazakh language in the Latin script and will provide scientific and practical assistance with learning the Kazakh language in the new alphabet. According to experts, the newspaper will become an important dialogue platform for the exchange of views on linguistic matters. The newspaper’s print will have a total of 3,000 copies. The print edition will also be available online. The newspaper will be published twice a month.
