A poetry event was held for Government employees in Astana
A poetry event was held for Government employees in Astana. Famous creative intellectuals as well as members of Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan, Roza Mukanova, Turzhan Onaigul and others presented their works to the audience. The participants also discussed some of the important issues of the present day. The event was held in conjunction of President Nazarbayev’s Modernization of Kazakhstan’s Identity program and the ‘Start Changing Yourself’ project. The organizers said such events will be held regularly in the future.

- The agency for civil service is holding literary events for the government employees presenting them the works of famous writers and poets. The Government employees should know more about their culture and be dedicated to the Homeland. Such events are held every Thursday in a free format with participation of well-known artist and cultural figures.

- We want to present our works to the Government employees. The work of the civil servants is very difficult and demanding. We want to give them a little bit of creative inspiration and cheer them up. These events are very important both for them and for us.
