In the last three years, the 378 projects worth more than three trillion tenge have been realized as part of the State Program of Industrial and Innovative Development. Experts say that the main aspect is that the program has allowed redirecting the further industrial development in accordance with modern trends and obtaining products with high added value. This will increase the competitiveness of the entire Kazakh economy.
BERIK BEKENOV, HEAD, KAZAKH INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT:
- Implemented projects allowed us to change the structure of the industries. For example, in metallurgy we moved from manufacturing metal bases to making processed products. We began manufacturing pipes and rails.
Moreover, in order to increase the competitiveness of Kazakhstan's products in foreign markets, digital technologies are introduced in production.
SERGEI LEU, CEO, BOZSHAKOL MINING AND ENRICHMENT PLANT:
- All processes are run by programs. Everything is fully automated in the enrichment sector and human factors are reduced by 90%. 5 to 6 people from the main control panel manage the enrichment complex. The rest of the staff is mainly engaged in maintenance and planning.
Digital modernization is no longer a trend, but the actual reality of the modern world. International experts highlighted that Kazakhstan is doing right by using not only the resource potential, but also consistently developing the industry and introducing innovative technologies.
