Experts speak about president Nursultan Nazarbayev’s initiatives
In the near future, the recent five presidential initiatives will trigger a new wave of development in Kazakhstan’s economy. Dmitry Zhuravlev, Director General of the Russian Institute for Regional Problems, is confident that the implementation of these large-scale projects will create a new Kazakh social and state which can lead other countries by example.
DMITRY ZHURAVLEV, DIRECTOR GENERAL, INSTITUTE OF REGIONAL PROBLEMS:
- All of this should create a level of life and education that will allow people to be of value in the new economy. This model will become the basis for others. Most likely, Kazakhstan will be a leader among the countries similar to our standard of living.
Representatives of Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Kazakhstan believe that the president’s new social initiatives are unprecedented. That’s why it is not coincidental that Nursultan Nazarbayev mentioned that implementation of the program is going to give the notion of “social state” a new meaning.
SANAT KUSHKUMBAYEV, DEPUTY DIRECTOR, KAZAKHSTAN INSTITUTE FOR STRATEGIC STUDIES:
- Energy exporting countries that also have financial reserves cannot afford implementation of such projects. It shows the social focus of the policy conducted by the President of our country. A very important aspect is certainly what makes up the feeling of social unity. All these abstract numbers as GDP, GDP per capita are not perceived by all the people of Kazakhstan. Now every person in Kazakhstan will be able to feel involved in a part of the national wealth.
