Amendments into international agreements
Mazhilis of the Kazakh Parliament approved the ratification of the convention on avoidance of double taxation with Ireland. In general, the document aims to strengthen and expand economic cooperation by creating a favorable investment climate. The parliamentarians approved a similar document with India, too. The amendments assume innovations related to the exchange of information, benefits and assistance in collecting taxes. A member of mazhilis said that this will help to establish closer economic ties between the two countries. Moreover, the lower house of the Kazakh parliament approved the ratification of the agreement on the road transport between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. This agreement will promote further development of the road transport between the states and will strengthen the trade and economic cooperation.
