The center works in four areas, including the analysis of the promotion of the One Belt, One Road initiative. Moreover, the center holds seminars and trainings for young scientists and economists to exchange the experience. Representatives of the scientific communities of the two states held a round table on "China's economy: current status and potentials". The experts discussed plans to increase economic ties, trade turnover and further cooperation between the countries.
ZHANG ZHAOAN, VICE PRESIDENT, SHANGHAI ACADEMY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES:
- We are planning to further expand cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. The primary goal is to work together in the economic and cultural areas and create new joint projects. These meetings are very effective for development of cooperation of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as for representatives of official departments of both countries.
