Beijing hosted "Welcome to Astana" road show
Beijing hosted a presentation of Kazakhstan’s opportunities in tourism. 20 largest Chinese tour operators were introduced to the Kazakh capital’s sights, best routes for travelers and advantageous tour packages at ‘Welcome to Astana’ road show. National air carriers attended the presentation, too.

- We pay special attention to Chinese tourists. Hotels and buses have been adapted in Astana. Audio guides do everything to make Chinese tourists comfortable in Astana.
Representatives of Chinese companies note that interest in Kazakhstan among tourists is growing. The visa facilitation including for group tours played an important role to stimulate tourism. Over the past month, a Beijing agency registered and sent approximately 60 people who wish to go sightseeing in Kazakhstan.

- There are 47 branches of our company in Beijing and 35 more in the country. We work with many countries and now we have entered into partnership with Kazakh colleagues. In August, 57 tourists have chosen Kazakhstan. Of course, the interest to the country was increased by the expo. Faster visa processing also played a role in the growth of tourist flows.
China is a leader in terms of outbound tourism in the world. Last year, 135 million Chinese went abroad and spent over US$260 billion.
