KAZAKHSTAN AND ATLANTIC COUNCIL
Washington will host the next meeting of the Atlantic Council which will discuss the Central Asia and U.S. foreign policies. The main issues are the situation in Afghanistan, implementation of China’s ‘One Belt, One Road’ project and large-scale institutional reforms in Kazakhstan. Domestic diplomats spoke about the third modernization program which is being implemented in Kazakhstan and invited their American counterparts to take an active role in its implementation. International experts highlighted Kazakhstan’s steady economic development naming it "a successful model of action for other countries." Economic transformation and legislative reforms have allowed attracting foreign investments which made possible the achievement of key growth indicators. Experts highlighted that these rates should be continued.
