EXHIBITION OPENS TO MARK 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF STATE SYMBOLS
An exhibition has opened at the National Academic Library to mark the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s state symbols. The exhibition features materials on the history of creation of Kazakhstan’s flag, the coat of arms and the anthem, and the biographies of their authors. In total, there are about 40 books reflecting the ideology of the independent state and its recent history. According to the organizers, the exhibition reflects the main idea of the Day of State Symbols - strengthening of Kazakhstan's patriotism and the nation’s unity.

- Kazakhstan has made considerable achievement over 25 years; we have something to be proud of. Over 25 years, our flag, coat of arms and anthem became recognizable worldwide. Kazakhstan is becoming more and more recognizable. Such exhibitions should be held in all regions, towns and institutions to show importance of the state symbols.

- Such a well-organized exhibition lets our visitors to learn more about the history, the meaning of Kazakhstan’s state symbols. This event is held as part of the preparation for Astana EXPO 2017. This exhibition will be open until Expo finishes.
