KAZAKH FRIENDSHIP CLUBS IN CHINA HOLD CONFERENCE
Beijing hosted the third meeting of Friendship Clubs of Kazakhstan in China. At the meeting, experts discussed the prospects of finding common points of contact between the Kazakh economic policy "Nurly Zhol" and the Chinese initiative "One Belt, One Road.” Cooperation between the two countries is already yielding results. Kazakhstan shares the aspiration to develop its cross-border potential. The young republic intends to become one of the largest business, transit and logistics hubs in Asia. Chinese experts say that this will be facilitated by creation of a multimodal transport highway "Eurasian transcontinental corridor."

- Very important questions have been discussed at the "round table". Parties exchanged views on the work carried out within the framework of the Great Silk Road strategy" and Nurly Zhol. We took into account the tasks set by the heads of state. The experts discussed about further work in this direction and strengthening of cooperation at this joint meeting. Improvement of communication in the humanitarian sphere has become an important focus of the session.
Clubs of Friends of Kazakhstan in China was established in 2015. The community includes Chinese representatives, media, academic and business industries who support and conduct friendly contacts between the two countries.
