DISCUSSION OF KAZAKH PRESIDENT’S ADDRESS
Beginning of the third modernization in Kazakhstan is a historical event, Russian analysts say. Nursultan Nazarbayev’s address was discussed in Moscow. As experts say, Kazakhstan is Eurasian continent’s pioneer in testing of socio-economic innovations that later have been used by other countries.

- Kazakhstan’s agro-industrial advancement can be seen in all stages, which in turn improves governance system through strategic development. Kazakhstan pays particular attention to breakthrough scientific innovations, for instance, in space technologies, in its state programs. Creation of test sites for agro-industrial complex in order to monitor climate change is a sign of effective management.
Kazakhstan is steadily growing in international arena, World Bank’s Vice President Cyril Muller said. He noted that Nursultan Nazarbayev pays special attention to the diversification of the economy and the development of macroeconomic stability in Kazakhstan.

- One of the key challenges for Kazakhstan going forward is to diversify the economy. To diversify the economy means creating new enterprises. Why - because new enterprises create a lot more jobs than old enterprises. They also bring dynamism to the economy. In that context this is interesting that Kazakhstan has focused pretty much on improving business climate in the country. And over the last few years, these improvements, these measures that have been taken have improved Kazakhstan’s ranking in the Doing Business ranking to now being 35 in the world, which is a very big improvement then it’s a very good ranking for countries in the region.
