INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN REGIONS
Regions of Kazakhstan enter the world markets. Cross-border cooperation with Russia is actively developing in Pavlodar region. The businessmen from Omsk visited the region. They visited industrial enterprises, signed agreements on cooperation in trade-economic, scientific-technical, ecological and cultural spheres. About 200 joint ventures successfully operate in Pavlodar and Omsk regions. And in 2016, the trade turnover between the regions exceeded $600 million. Now the regions are developing opportunities for new areas of cooperation, including the development of river navigation.

- For border territories, it is historically important. We imported crushed stone in Omsk region. We do not have quarries, deliveries of salt. And this cooperation would give a new additional impetus in the development of our relationship. We will continue this work.

- You know, Expo will be held in Astana. We believe that our strategic partners of Russia, especially our twin cities, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Altai region - they will definitely participate in the exhibition. Therefore, the passenger flow in 2017 will be high.
Aktobe region also actively develops cooperation with other countries. Representatives of the leading companies of Israel arrived to Aktobe to attend the business forum and develop mutually beneficial partnership. They have been working in Kazakhstan for many years. Agreements have already been reached on the development of women’s entrepreneurship and IT-technologies, cooperation in the field of healthcare and agro-industrial complex. The Israeli businessmen will share their experience in establishment of agricultural cooperatives, drip irrigation of the land, and supply medical equipment.

- In terms of agriculture, we look forward to cooperate in drip irrigation, construction of greenhouses, poultry farms, also dairy industry. All these directions are highly in demand in Aktobe region. The second direction is medicine. We need to train personnel, doctors, average medical personnel, build new hospitals, and introduce new medical technologies.
