Awarding ceremony for winners of First President foundation prize
18 Kazakhstanis became the winners of the First President’s Foundation Award in arts and science. Solemn ceremony of awarding laureates was held in Astana. Among the winners there are the leading soloists of Astana Opera Theater, doctors, actors, journalists, scientists and many others. The prize was established in 2008. It is aimed to discover and support the achievements of domestic talents, as well as the results of young scientists’ research works. In general, about 160 most original, innovative and creative projects have been awarded a prestigious prize.

We support our talented young people, who demonstrated and proved that their works, their creativity, inventions firstly correspond to the realities of the present time, and secondly, that they are really worthy projects.
The laureates of the First President’s Foundation Prize are selected from across Kazakhstan. For example, this is the winner in the nomination “technical sciences” from West Kazakhstan region. She developed a unique material for thermal insulation.
NURGUL ADILOVA, LAUREATE, FIRST PRESIDENT’S FOUNDATION PRIZE:
I am very glad to receive this award, and I am proud of the title of the laureate of the award of the First President’s Foundation. We, of course, will continue our scientific activity and develop Kazakhstan’s economy and industry.
The joint project of the Foundation and the well-known ballet artist, the winner of the award Doszhan Tabyldy - “The Activation” video was presented during the ceremony. Its meaning was to record a dance from one take, without video editing. Thus, the video author challenges the dancers across the world, and invites them to participate in Astana Dance Challenge.
