Azerbaijan with its motto “Energy transferred from the past to the future” is planning to participate in the Expo 2017, which will start June 10 in Astana. The country aims to expand the production of renewable energy and in the future become its exporter. Therefore, the experts consider the exhibition as a chance to present great possibilities of green energy.

Azerbaijan, having some serious achievements in the field of renewable energy, with great interest, with more demonstration materials will participate in this exhibition. A specially prepared video about the development of sustainable energy will be presented. It will demonstrate how our offshore and production platforms are transformed into platforms where wind power will be used. And due to these facilities we can provide electricity demand not only domestically, but also export it abroad.

Expo in Astana represents a message to the countries with traditional energy. It can open a new way for implementation of joint research in the field of alternative energy for Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, which have a long experience of cooperation in the energy sector.
The expo will provide an opportunity to demonstrate cultural heritage of the participating countries as well. Azerbaijan will hold its National Day on July 9. The concept of the pavilion area of more than 400 square meters is aimed to reflect national values, and, of course, to demonstrate the country moving in the direction of the future energy.
