Kazakhstan and South Korea are expanding cooperation in various industries. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992, the countries have been cooperating in the political, socio-economic, cultural, humanitarian and scientific spheres, sharing experiences with each other in housing construction guarantee and medical insurance systems. Kazakh delegation visited South Korea to learn more about the country’s experience in these spheres. Kazakh and South Korean representatives agreed to continue the exchange of expertise.

There is a preliminary agreement on the further assistance in public-private partnership development. In particular, they will provide recommendations on the implementation of concrete projects.
South Korean experts shared its experience in housing construction and organized a seminar in Seoul. The law "On the equity participation in housing construction’ came into force in October, 2016. At present, a specialized fund certifies construction companies’ activities to let them attract interest holders. Kazakhstan used the South Korean housing guarantee system which has been in use since 1993.

To receive the warranty, it is necessary to conclude a contract on land use rights upon our request. Many developers have only a short-term land use rights at present. We hope to solve this issue soon, and its resolution will entail the warranty issuance for a greater number of builders.
South Korea underwater association and Kazakh-Korean Center have signed a memorandum. The agreement will let South Korean experts to train Kazakh specialists to use effective methods of cleaning water ponds and rescue people from drowning.
HWANG-TE YONG, HEAD OF SOUTH KOREA UNDERWATER ASSOCIATION:
According to the memorandum signed between our association and the Center, we will invite Kazakh specialists for training in security and tourism programs, in particular, in scuba diving. We will also make every effort to promote EXPO 2017 in South Korea.
