International young inventors’ camp to be established ahead of EXPO 2017
The international camp of young inventors will be opened in Astana ahead of the Expo 2017. This was announced at the conference “Expo 2017- future energy for Kazakhstan and Russia”, by the chairman of the board of the Coalition for green economy Saltanat Rakhimbekova. According to Rakhimbekova, young people from different countries aged between 15 and 25 years, will be able to visit Astana and share their ideas in the field of green technologies.
SALTANAT RAKHIMBEKOVA, CHAIRPERSON, COALITION FOR GREEN ECONOMY AND G-GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT:
We are planning to organize the camp 30-km away from Astana, in Arnasay village. The camp will be based at the training center People’s Academy of green technologies. It will be able to host students from 100 different countries.
The Russian projects, which will be presented at the exhibition Expo 2017, were also discussed at the round table. The neighboring country has received one of the largest pavilions. Its thematic concept is called “Russia - the energy potential of the plant Earth”. Currently, Russian regions are being attracted to participate in the exhibition. It is already known that Russia’s over 30 regions are ready to present their projects at the Astana expo site.
