Kazakh scientists' developments introduced in manufacturing
Kazakhstana sees development of its science. Awards ceremony was held in Almaty for scientists whose publications in reputable journals have been recognized as the most cited resources in the international scientific community by Thomson Reuters. This year, the prestigious award "Leader of Science 2016" was given to Nazarbayev University, Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute and National Center for Biotechnology. In addition, individual scientists were awarded as well for publications in the field of physical, technical, medical, agricultural, biological and social sciences. The number of researchers has increased by 57% in Kazakhstan since 2009.

Kazakhstan’s science has been progressing very rapidly in recent years. We noticed this. The number of the most cited works has increased the same as the contribution of Kazakhstan’s science in general. The number of publicationis growing and this certainly is the outcome of the public policy on improving the prestige of science and funding it.
Kazakh scientists' developments are being actively introduced into production. Aktobe innovators' development is utilized in mining companies. A worker of the leading metallurgical enterprise Aktobe ferroalloys plant Bagdat Zhakiev developed his method of using waste from the production of chrome ore. Master of Engineering Science, the author of more than 10 projects and a young scientist says that the entire world moves towards saving raw materials and development of alternative sources of energy.

About 200,000 tons of chrome ore waste dumped at Donskoi Mining and the Processing Plant creates significant environmental problems. The goal was set to recycle this waste. We conducted a research that has shown that this waste can be reused in metallurgical processing.
Bagdat Zhakiyev presented his scientific project at the scientific-practical conference for young scientists. It was the tenth time when it brought together dozens of participants from all branches of the company. Young scientists solve environmental problems, offer to organize production of new alloys, thereby improving the competitiveness of the enterprise.

The introduction of young scientists' developments into production brings significant economic benefit every year. Half of the projects presented at the conference are being already implemented.
Over 600 innovative projects have been introduced into production in 3 years. The scientific developments have already brought revenue worth almost 700 million tenge.
