William THOMPSON, HEAD OF EURASIA DIVISION AT OECD:
Kazakhstan is one of the most active partners of the OECD among the states that are not yet the members of the organization. Currently, we are completing the two-year program of cooperation with Kazakhstan, the so-called OECD country program. Kazakhstan raised its status in several OECD committees and some committees discuss the participation of Kazakhstan.
