Kazakhstan, Israel plan to establish business council
Kazakhstan and Israel expand cooperation. By 2018, the countries plan to launch direct flights between Astana and Tel Aviv. The corresponding agreement is scheduled to be signed to create the legal framework necessary for the launch of flights. The parties are planning to sign the agreement in mid-December during the forthcoming visit of the head of the Israeli government in Kazakhstan. Today, the old agreement is operating between the countries that have been signed more than 20 years ago, which prescribes the flight destination of Almaty. In addition, as it became known, within the regular meeting of the intergovernmental commission of Kazakhstan and Israel, light flight mode for all airlines will operate in Astana airport during the Expo 2017. The signing of other agreements aimed to strengthen the economic and trade partnership between Kazakhstan and Israel is expected as part of a planned meeting between the prime ministers of two countries. Moreover, the Kazakh-Israeli business council is planned to be established.
Bakhyt SULTANOV, KAZAKH MINISTER OF FINANCE:
There is a considerable experience. There are such business councils jointly with a number of other countries, which at the governmental level provide significant specific impetus in the form of concrete decisions, business projects, and of course, agreements.
