Exhibition displays historical development of Kazakhstan
The Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan is hosting a large-scale exhibition, displaying the main historical events for the people of Kazakhstan. The exhibition shows the historical record of Kazakhstan for over 100 years: from the first prerequisite for independence till present days. It is a coherent and detailed display of the idea of an independent state and its realization. The exhibition also tells about Nursultan Nazarbayev’s political initiatives, which found a positive response in the international community, and continue to make a contribution in regional development. The exposition is held to mark the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence and the Day of the First President.

The exhibition tells about the development of the state symbols, the first flight of the Kazakh cosmonaut into space, the adoption of our currency. People know about these events, but in this exhibition they will see all the events, all these documents, all these materials in one hall for the first time.
The exhibition demonstrates new exposition ideas that allowed combining different types of sources: newspapers, manuscripts, official documents, photographs and other documentary chronicles. All these unique historical evidences have become available to public for the first time.

I appreciate very much this place is very good. The exhibition shows the first president of the republic of Kazakhstan. And I think it is very prepared and very timely for this celebration as we have now.
The exhibition is displayed in the Dome Hall, which entered the history as the venue of the proclamation of Astana as the new capital of Kazakhstan. The exposition is divided into four thematic sections: Harbingers of Independence, Historic Choice, Strategies of Success and Future Energy.
