Experts: Kazakhstan is the most powerful economy in the region
Kazakhstan is the country with high investment attractiveness, strong potential and the most advanced economy in the region. Over the years of independence, Kazakhstan has become an important player on the global stage. This was said in Brussels by the ex-coordinator of the European External Action Service on Regional Programs Pierre Borgolts. At the briefing devoted to Kazakhstan’s 25th Independence anniversary, the Kazakh Ambassador to Belgium Almaz Khamzayev introduced the key milestones in the development of the young and independent country. European politicians and officials, diplomats and journalists were presented the main provisions of the state program "Nurly Zhol". The guests also visited the exhibition "Kazakhstan: the country of the Great Steppe", which showcases the contemporary life and culture of Kazakhstan, unique architecture of Astana, diversity of natural landscapes and ancient historical monuments.

Establishing Kazakhstan as an important partner in the world community of nations is playing its role in the international era including its recognition to become for the first time a member of the UN Security Council starting next January.
