Travel book on Kazakhstan has been presented in Almaty
Travel book on Kazakhstan has been presented in Almaty. The project was implemented jointly with the Foundation of the First President and dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence. The publication contains more than 700 facts about the country, its history, architecture and nature. Each page is a map with illustrations and infographics. As experts say, not only students and their parents, but also the youngest readers will be interested in reading the book and immerse themselves in a journey of discovering Kazakhstan. The book has already been made available for residents of Astana, Almaty, Uralsk, Pavlodar and Ust-Kamenogorsk. The authors of the book plan to expand circulation and make its copies available to all who wish to read the book.
Zarina SABITOVA, CO-AUTHOR:
The uniqueness of the book lies in its edutainment format. It consists of graphics, author’s illustrations. To be honest, we haven’t seen a book of such format in Kazakhstan. The book contains facts about the country - not only the geographical and historical ones, but all sorts in just one edition. This is possibly a good marketing tool for the country. The book will be of interest ahead of the Universiade, EXPO 2017, and the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence.
