28 Swiss companies ready to invest in Kazakhstan
A delegation of Swiss investors and businessmen arrived in Almaty. The guests met with Kazakh counterparts and discussed issues of expanding cooperation. European entrepreneurs came with a number of proposals related to banking, logistics, construction, healthcare, tourism and other businesses spheres. In particular, one of the Swiss companies offers to build a brickfield in the outskirts of Almaty. Meanwhile, the two countries’ trade turnover made up $2 billion in the first half of the year. Kazakhstan exports energy carriers, precious stones and metals and imports high accuracy equipment, optics, watches, products of the chemical industry from Switzerland.

We visited various ministries and departments and investment committee in Astana, but it is also important that our businessmen personally met Kazakh businessmen. We know that the Kazakh side is highly interested in the 21st century technology, particularly in energy saving. Switzerland achieved certain results in this regard and we would like to share what we have.
