The Akmola region farmers preparing seeds for next harvest
Country’s agrarians are planning to sow the seeds of more than half a million tons of grain in the Akmola region. More than thirty companies are engaged in the preparations. Some of them specialize exclusively in elite varieties. This year, farmers will have to harvest from more than four million hectares. More than eight million units of various agricultural machinery are to be used in the process. 62 elevators and more than 200 grain-points are awaiting for the new crop.

There are 14 elite seed farms in our region and over 30 seed farms which primarily harvest the seeds for the next year. The production of elite seeds as well as seeds of higher categories is underway.
